Well, Fire Fighter 1 is complete and Fire Fighter 2 has begun. Looking back it's gone pretty fast. I've learned so much in the past three months. It's so much fun! Less than three months and I'll be done with my training!

I've been working three days a week with a lawn care company. I like it SOOOO much better than working at the furniture store. Some of the work is hard but I enjoy it. The schedule is good and I get plenty of time to study. My boss used to attend our church and we played softball together for a while. He's a good man to work for. He's pretty flexible too. I asked for some time off this summer and it wasn't a problem at all. Yes, most of that time off I'll be with Rachel! She's pretty amazing you know.  For whoever reads this, hope things are well with you.

It's kinda hard to believe we're almost 2 months into 2007. Looking back, the time seems to have gone really fast. I'm enjoying fire training. We're getting into some good stuff. This past Saturday we learned ventilation and forcible entry. Basically, if I don't make it as a fire fighter I could become a thief. With fire fighter tools, you can pretty much break into or go through anything. Next week we will be learning vehicle extrication. Taking cars apart in order to rescue people.

God is so good. He continually puts circumstances in my life to make me rely on Him. He knows that I can become complacent when life is always smooth. There are some things going on regarding my state testing and the fact that I was homeschooled. It's a little frustrating but that's ok. God is reminding me to trust Him and be secure in the fact that He has lead me this far. I would appreciate your prayers though!

And the best part of all. In 10 days I will be seeing my girl! You may be thinking, "he's counting the days?" Umm, are you kidding me?! I can hardly wait!!
